Wham, Bam, Slam-Your Door Closer sounds like it needs adjusted!
This week I went to a restaurant banquet facility for a meeting. As I walked into the banquet room, the door slammed shut behind me! Everyone knew I was there at that moment! Have you ever walked into a place and the door slams shut? This means the door closer needs some adjusting. If the closer has been installed and adjusted correctly you should never hear the door close. You may ask yourself-why are there closers even on doors? There are a few reasons why. For example:
Security: doors used to limit access to buildings or spaces must be kept in the closed and secured position.
Privacy: closed doors provide a degree of privacy to areas such as public restrooms.
Sound Containment: closed doors reduce the level of sound that passes through an opening.
Next time you walk into a business and the door slams behind you-give our information to the owner, we can adjust that!
